Farmington Public Schools is providing a special opportunity for area grandparents to come together to address issues relating to them. All grandparents are invited to attend informational discussions with other grandparents to discuss and learn more about:
- Challenges that face grandparents raising their grandchildren.
- The struggles and successes of grandparenting.
- Receiving and providing support.
- Discover tips for coping with changing family dynamics.
- Gather information about available community resources.
- Understand effective ways to collaborate with schools and outside service systems.
These free discussions will take place the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m.?
(November 13, December 11, January 8, February 12, March 12, April 9 and May 14) at the Ten Mile Building, 32789 West Ten Mile, Farmington. Grandparents can attend one or all of the sessions. RSVPs are preferred but not required.
